Everest region has different routes ranging from one to three weeks. Most of the trekkers end their treks at Lukla,
where there is an airstrip for flights out to Kathmandu. Some of Everest treks start in the Nepali speaking Hindu
lowlands, and then reach up to Tibetan-Buddhist highland. Sherpa people are renowned for their enterprise, civic
responsibility and devotion to the practice of Buddhism. It's not until you get right into the Khumbu valley that
the Everest treks really get interesting.
