Everybody knows of Mt. Everest, and that's the simple reason why the Everest treks are so popular. These treks have a number of stunning attractions, including spectacular scenery and the villages of Sherpa people, the famous mountaineers in the world. This trek is a superb introduction to the Everest area, visiting the important and fascinating Sherpa villages of Namche Bazaar and Khumjung, the world re-known monastery at Tyangboche, and the monasteries at Pangboche, surrounded by some of the highest and most beautiful peaks in the world.

An ascent of Island Peak provides the ideal combination of climbing a Himalayan peak with a trek through the Everest region, and a visit to Everest Base Camp. This also allows excellent acclimatization and preparation to ensure a successful ascent of the peak.
