Gokyo valley is the less-trodden trail to the high Yak pastures. The Gokyo Lakes region, at the head of the Dudh
Kosi Valley, provides an ideal alternative to a trek to the popular trekker's summit Kalapathar (5,545 m) and Everest
Base Camp. It is a more tranquil trek that combines time in the Sherpa Villages with beautiful alpine camps and stunning
views of the huge Himalayan peaks including four of the highest mountains on earth - Makalu (27,807ft.),
Cho Oyu (26,750 ft.), Lhotse (27,890 ft.) and Everest (29,028 ft.).
